Oman Hydrogen Centre (OHC) played an instrumental role in shaping key conversations around sustainability and energy efficiency. Dr. Sausan Al-Riyami, Director of OHC, expertly moderated the session on Maximizing Energy and Water Efficiency, held on November 11th, 2024, at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Muscat.
The session, which was part of this year’s PDO initiative aimed at advancing sustainable building practices, featured a lineup of expert speakers sharing their innovative insights on energy and water conservation. - Abdulrahman Al Hinai, Sales Head of Smart Infrastructure Buildings at Siemens Oman, spoke about how Digitalization can unleash sustainability.
- Sultan Al Obeidani, Energy Excellence Engineer at OQ Alternative Energy, presented on Energy Efficiency Ambitions & Super ESCO Potential in Oman.
- Onkar Nath Tiwari, Associate Engineering & Environmental Solutions, PV, shared his expertise on Decentralized Wastewater Treatment Systems for Urban Areas.
- Faisal Al Farii, Senior HVAC Engineer at Petroleum Development Oman, discussed Advancements in Energy Efficiency: Optimizing HVAC Systems and Other Energy-Intensive Systems to Achieve Sustainability Goals.
