Oman Hydrogen Centre
About Us
Oman Hydrogen Centre (OHC) was established in 2019 by the German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech), and it is the first research centre of its kind in Oman and is supporting the country in accelerating its transition to renewable energy. OHC aims to play the main role in shifting from fossil energy sources to renewable sources such as solar and wind with green hydrogen as the energy carrier and clean industrial base material of the future economy. Its activities and future are aligned with Oman Vision 2040.
