Under the patronage of His Excellency Engineer Salem Al-Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, the Civil Aviation Authority of Oman hosted a conference to promote the development of sustainable and low-carbon aviation fuel and clean energy in the civil aviation industry.
Over 150 specialists from Oman and international experts will participate in the event, which will be held at the authority’s headquarters in Muscat on October 10–11, 2023.
The forum aims to promote the development and deployment of sustainable and environmentally friendly fuels in the aviation industry, contributing to the achievement of Oman Vision 2040 and fulfilling international commitments. German University of Technology in Oman participated in several student projects that were supported by the Oman Hydrogen Centre (OHC) in the field of alternative fuels and hydrogen production at the exhibition.
