The 9th Oman Energy ESG Forum in Muscat that was held on 22nd of November 2022 focused on two main topics: Oman’s roadmap to achieve Net Zero by its target date of 2050 and the role of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) in promoting sustainable economic diversification in the country.
250 executives and officials from a variety of industries, including energy, aviation, automobiles, agriculture, academia, freezones, and logistics attended the 9th Oman Energy Forum, which was held just a few days after the conclusion of the UN climate conference in Egypt (COP27). There were 18 sessions with more than 40 speakers.
